About the Cabin
The Log Cabin
The cabin, built in the 1970's, was recently completely renovated. There are three bedrooms, one and a half bathrooms, a game room, living room, kitchen and dining room. With two large porches, you can enjoy the peaceful area while witnessing the diverse wildlife from white tailed deer to pileated woodpeckers and much more. The cabin is located on 1.8 acres of wooded land but is easily accessible to shopping centers and the City of Kingston.
The first floor
Plenty of thought and care went into the renovation of each room. When you walk in the front door you will be greeted with pine walls and brilliant wood floors. A local mill supplied the recycled Heartpine flooring in the living room and game room from a demolished 300 year old Columbia University building. Almost all the furniture in the house is refurbished.
